JREnsey blog for June 2020

Welcome to the JREnsey June 2020 blog. May common sense and moderation prevail!

The Word for Today

When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan” (Proverbs 29:2 NLT).

[Comment: Thinking from the standpoint of the time in which this proverb was written, it would seem that more meaning and relevance is gleaned from the passage when we consider it as a ruler doing the right thing for his people rather than focusing on possible personal peccadillos of the leader in question. Americans do not live in a religious theocracy as they did under Solomon, the writer of the proverb. And really, if we judge kings and rulers of secular nations by a strict biblical standard of personal deportment, how many of Israel’s kings could be counted among “the godly”? Check those whose record was that they “did that which was right in the sight of the Lord” but had a legacy soiled by one or more personal failures. The author’s life itself was a laundry list of bad personal choices, including outright sin. However, his kingly record was that he provided not only national prosperity but a time of peace and quietness (I Chronicles 22:9), which is what Christians are told to pray for (I Timothy 2:2). Mr. President, honorable congressmen—do the right thing. Follow the Constitution.]

Billionaire Bill Gates has plans for you

Gates, one of the world’s movers and shakers, is shown in this picture with a stack of books, apparently selections he is reading and promoting. The one on top is titled, How to Lie with Statistics. Is this the reason he and other one-worlders are so effective in shutting down the world to install “the new normal”? The Covid-19 numbers are being padded to force America and other nations to accept his vaccination plan. Other titles in the stack: Hyperbole and a Half, On Immunity, Should We Eat Meat, and The Magic of Reality. Some think part of the lockdown effort is to diminish or eliminate the consumption of meat, which sustains beef production, which in turn means more animal flatulence that is contributing to climate change.

Netflix has a show (I haven’t seen it, not subscribing to that medium) called Explained, which focuses on various subjects. One is titled The Next Pandemic, Season 2 Episode 7, 21 minutes, released November 7, 2019. Someone I know signed up for a free 30-day trial to watch. Gates paints a bleak picture of a pandemic killing millions. He also has a 30 million plus death simulation that he’s been using since 2018. Watch it—it is only 15 seconds. Starts in China, of course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9afTl9z5JHQ&feature=emb_logo

In The Next Pandemic, which is now in progress, Gates said it’ll be like history’s “gigantic wars.” And he clearly predicted, “The economy will shut down” (said at 2 minute mark). We keep running into these pre-2020 references about shutting down the economy. It was in the plan all along. After this singular video, he followed with a six episode Netflix series entitled, The Next Pandemic: How to Prevent An Outbreak, completed in November 2019 and released on Netflix January 22, 2020.

Gates Foundation funds failed model makers. One of these, the IHME, is at the Universiy of Washington in Seattle, Bill Gates’ hometown:

[Can anyone guess where the first recorded case of Covid-19 appeared in the U.S.? You guessed it—not far from Billionaire Bill’s’ mansion in the Seattle area. What a “coincidence.”]

The killer in the shadows

The CDC Revises Covid-19 Numbers—Again

Thomas Gallatin

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has revised its [Covid-19 virus] numbers yet again, with its current and now “best estimate” for the COVID-19 fatality rate among infected people down to 0.3%—far lower than initial projections that spurred shutdowns nationwide. In fact, the CDC estimates that 35% of individuals infected with COVID-19 never experience symptoms, which means that the total rate of infection is 50% higher than the number of symptomatic cases. This would once again indicate that the virus is much more widespread than previously assumed.

These latest numbers from the CDC appear to support the findings of Thomas A.J. Meunier, a researcher from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. In a recent article published in the medical journal The Lancet, Meunier concluded that the “full lockdown policies in Western Europe countries have no evident impacts on the COVID-19 epidemic.” Meunier argued, “I expect that when we count the number of deaths from COVID-19 in each country in one year from now, the figures will be similar, regardless of measures taken.” Sweden’s former lead epidemiologist, Johan Giesecke, concurred, arguing that lockdowns ultimately don’t prevent deaths; they simply push them a bit further into the future.

Meanwhile, an early advocate of total lockdown, Dr. Anthony Fauci, warned on Friday, “We can’t stay locked down for such a considerable period of time that you might do irreparable damage and have unintended consequences, including consequences for health.” He added, “I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go.” – Patriot Post 5/26/20

[Are our state officials listening? -ed.]

Doctors call for end to shutdown

Dr. Fauci’s recent comments (see above) come on the heels of last week’s letter to the White House from more than 600 doctors calling for an end to the “national shutdown” over growing concerns of a coming “mass casualty incident.” The letter warns, “Millions of casualties of a continued shutdown will be hiding in plain sight, but they will be called alcoholism, homelessness, suicide, heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure. In youth it will be called financial instability, unemployment, despair, drug addiction, unplanned pregnancies, poverty, and abuse.”

Evidence seemingly supporting the letter’s dire claims comes from John Muir Medical Center, a hospital located outside of San Fransisco, which reported more suicides this past month than deaths from COVID-19. Dr. Mike deBoisblanc, head of the emergency department, observed, “We’ve never seen numbers like this in such a short period of time. I mean we’ve seen a year’s worth of suicide attempts in the last four weeks.” A trauma nurse stated, “What I have seen recently, I have never seen before. I have never seen so much intentional injury. They intend to die.”

Given that the fatality rate is far lower than expected, while deaths of despair are rising, inquiring minds want to know: Was this whole lockdown worth it? – Thomas Gallatin, Patriot Post 5/26/20

[One wonders how many deaths and other tragedies with long-term family and societal effects could actually be traced to the lockdown. Overall, has the supposed remedial/avoidance measures been worse than the virus itself? That question does not ignore the awful pain and loss experienced by families who lost loved ones during this crisis. Some were personal aquaintances of mine. Our heart is broken for their families. It is also moved for those spiritually weak ones who won’t survive this lockdown, and the others who would have been converted during this period but were missed. We must not forget them—the casualties of the killer in the shadows.]

In case you missed these reports

Taiwan did not shut down

A neighbor nation to China with a population of 24 million did not shut down their thriving economy, even though they have as many as 400,000 who work in China. They have had 441 cases and 7 deaths. I wonder what would have been the casualty numbers had they shutdown?

Can you count the times in recent speeches the Chicago Mayor refers to New World Order?

Leftist and socialists want to see global governance arise out of this pandemic. Here is one episode stating that she expects government agencies and employees to “pledge allegiance to good governance and to the New World Order.” “Good governance” are said to be U.N. totalitarian code words.

Get ready to hear this kind of talk from officials in the future. Here’s a scary one for Chicago residents who can’t leave home without threat of arrest and jail:

Colorado admits 24% overcount in Covid deaths

The number of coronavirus deaths in state figures topped 1,000 about three weeks ago, but officials with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment revealed during a call with reporters that that number does not really represent the number of people who have died due to COVID-19. They admit to at least a 24% overcount. It seems that anyone who dies these days, they want to tag them as C-19 “related.”     https://www.gopusa.com/colorados-health-department-admits-24-overcount-in-coronavirus-deaths/

The truth seems to be that whatever figure is posted by the CDC or WHO is an inflated number. To power hungry politicians, higher numbers justify police state tactics.

Cuomo vs. Trump

NY Governor Cuomo said that the last places permitted to reopen will be the churches. The President had other ideas. He said, “Open them now…this weekend (May 24). They are essential.” Kudos for him! In his heart, he knows the truth about this whole pandemic. Perhaps he now wishes he had not listened to those who wanted to shut the nation down.

The U.N. wants you to shut up and get off the Net

The current UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterrres of Portugal, goes public with his appeal for censorship of free speech, saying the Internet is filled with “misinformation” about the current pandemic crisis. He wants everyone to parrot the “scientists” (theirs, of course) and globalists or get off the Net and get in line for a vaccine, which some think could be available after Christmas. “Trust” them, he pleads. The social media giants should unilaterally remove all the misinformation from the Net so he can “flood the social media with facts.” You can always trust the U.N. to come up with the facts! (tic)

Listen to his appeal here:

They keep saying they want a cure for Covid-19 before opening the economy. Let’s see…do they have a cure for the common cold yet? And just where is most of the misinformation about this virus coming from? (CDC and WHO!) And why are the two political parties at such distance apart on this shutdown if politics is not a factor? Wake up, people!

A pastor spills the beans

This pastor has his facts on this pandemic as straight as anyone you will hear. It is a common sense assessment of what is really going on. Watch it before it is removed.

Shut down for the real killers, if shut down we must

One wonders if they are truly concerned with the nation’s health and safety, then why not ban tobacco? Cigarette smoking is responsible for more than 480,000 deaths per year in the United States, including more than 41,000 deaths resulting from secondhand smoke exposure. This is about one in five deaths annually, or 1,300 deaths every day.

An estimated 88,000 people die from alcoholrelated causes annually, making alcohol the third leading preventable cause of death in the United States. The first is tobacco, and the second is poor diet and physical inactivity. Those figures are annual, not once in decade or so.

If the country was shut down and the churches closed because of a flu-like epidemic that killed only a small percentage of what tobacco does, why don’t they close it down until folks stop smoking, chewing and drinking? Of course, we all know in our hearts why they do not. It is not so much about people dying but about money, power and control.

Oh, deer…what’s next?

On a recent episode of Amazon’s Twitch media outlet, a transgender was featured who identifies as a deer and who openly threatened to come against and ban any Twitch users who hold less “diverse” opinions. So much for tolerance.

“I have power, they can’t take it away from me,” bragged Steph Loehr, also known as FerociouslySteph, who was once a male, now a female (a doe with pink and blue horns?). “And honestly there are some people that should be afraid of me, and they are because I represent moderation and diversity and I’m gonna come for harmful people. If you’re a really s****y person—I’m gonna stand up against you. Period. And Twitch is endorsing me to do that.”

Galloway: “Flagan, are you scared?”

A video was shown of Loehr explaining how she likes to “prance around and eat grass,” and have a “deergasm” while getting a head-rub (all this is demonstrated in the video). Such are the wonderful, wholesome folks who leftists are allowing to censor free speech on the Internet. If we don’t make our voices heard now in Washington, such people will be pressing legislators to pass laws to protect and promote their activities. What about protecting sane folks? Sound advice: Drop Twitch and any other social media platforms that censor conservative speech. Parents, do you know what your teens are watching?

Shades of Nebuchadnezzar!

Molech appears at Vatican-owned Colosseum

The Colosseum in Rome is the most visited tourist attraction in the world. Now a giant statue of the pagan god Molech (sometimes spelled Moloch) has been erected there. Since the Vatican owns the structure, they evidently approved its placement. The strange becomes more strange every day. In the Bible, the god Molech is associated with the sacrifice of children.

Personalities on parade

Trey Gowdy at six months:

Dr. Fauci at 2 months: “Chairman Xi Jinping, I have been thinking about a way we can scare the pants off of Americans and disrupt their economy in 2020.”

Donald Trump at seven months:

Adam Schiff at age 59:

Crowned too early: Hillary at 4 months

Bill Gates at six months: “You will accept my tattoo vaccine or you will be quarantined until you do.”

Chuck Norris at three days: “Hang on, folks! I’ll kick some sense into their heads!”

Since tens of thousands are dying from auto accidents every year, Pelosi and Schumer say we must revert to a safer way (below) to get around. Latest model comes with umbrella. Watch your step.

As the world turns learns…

The Last Words

  • If you can’t trust your state to correctly count the number of Covid-19 deaths, how can you trust them to correctly count mail-in votes?
  • Question for Hillary: If you are chosen as Biden’s VP and he wins, what would be the first thing you would work on? Hillary: “His obituary.”

The prayer of an old sea Captain

Disturb us, Lord, when we are too well pleased with ourselves, when our dreams come true because we have dreamed too little, when we arrived safely because we sailed too close to harbor.

Disturb us, Lord, when with the abundance of things we possess, we have lost our thirst for the waters of life; having fallen in love with life, we have ceased to dream of eternity, and in our efforts to build a new earth, we have allowed our vision of the new heaven to dim.

Disturb us, Lord, to dare more boldly, to venture on wider seas, where storms will show your mastery; where losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizon of our hopes; and to push back the future in strength, courage, hope, and love.

This we ask in the name of our Captain, who is Jesus Christ.

Have a safe and blessed month!
